Microsoft India and Querisoft Systems Private Limited, a Pune-based Internet security software firm, have announced a strategic partnership for providing secure Web-based transactions in the country.

Through this partnership the two companies aim to provide Indian customers with highly secure electronic commerce Web sites, combining Microsoft's Merchant Server and Web transaction technology with Querisoft's expertise in security and building applications for the Microsoft Back Office platform.

As a Microsoft Internet Technology Partner, Querisoft will combine its expertise in Microsoft tools and technologies to develop e-commerce products for the Indian and global markets.
