Shinde takes oath as Maha CM, Fadnavis dy CM

Eknath Shinde sworn in

Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde was on Thursday sworn in as Maharashtra chief minister by governor BS Koshyari.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, who was instrumental in the fall of the MVA government headed by Uddhav Thackeray, was sworn in as deputy CM.

The rest of the cabinet, comprising both rebel Shiv Sena and BJP leaders will be sworn in later.
