Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut dubs ED summons as 'conspiracy'. Raut says he will not take the Guwahati route where rebel Sena MLAs are camping. Raut's brother Sunil, says the summons are an attempt to scare him.

"I just got to know that the ED has sent me a notice. Major developments are taking place in Maharashtra. We all are Shiv Sainiks of (Sena founder) Balasaheb. This is a conspiracy. Even if I am beheaded, I will not take the Guwahati route," Raut said in a tweet in Marathi and tagged BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis.

The Rajya Sabha member also dared the ED to arrest him.

Reports say one of the primary reasons Eknath Shinde and his group of merry men have rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray is that they do not want to be under the scanner of government agencies like Income Tax, ED or CBI.

The Rajya Sabha MP has been asked to depose before the ED at its office in south Mumbai on June 28 and record his statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), they said.

In November 2014, the CBI had also questioned former Congress leader Himanta Biswa Sarma in the Saradha scam. In August 2015, Sarma joined the BJP, and since then, the probe against him has not moved.
