From a hippie to an envoy

Germany's envoy to India is at the end of his deputation here. The self-professed Indophile has been sharing several pictures of his journeys in India and the love he feels for this country comes through in spades.

Walter J Lindner shares this picture of himself saying, "From a 21-year old hippie-adventurer in Goa (June 1977) to someone only a little wiser (here exploring South IND Srirangam temple/Tiruchirappalli, Feb 2022) - 45 years later, but same quest' only IND holds that spell! Even after leaving IND in a few days, this journey continues."
