Delhi reports 24,383 new Covid cases, 34 deaths

Delhi reported 24,383 new COVID cases on Friday while 34 patients succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, said Delhi health department.

The city's positivity rate rose to 30.64 per cent as compared to the previous day's 29.21 per cent.

In Delhi as many as 26,236 patients recovered and there are 92,273 active cases in the national capital now.

Delhi on Thursday recorded 28,867 new COVID-19 cases, the highest single-day number since the outbreak of the pandemic about two years ago. -- Agencies
