PM launches UP's Kushinagar airport

A new international airport in UP's Kushinagar has been launched by PM Narendra Modi. A flight from Sri Lanka was the first to land.

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia felicitated Modi in Kushinagar. UP Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries were present.

"Today the nation believes that however strong be the people who deceive the nation and loot the people, no mercy is shown to them - wherever they may be. Government doesn't spare them," the PM said in a speech that criticised the pre-2014 Congress governments.
