Massive protests in Jammu over the killings of civilians by terrorists. 

The Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Forum today staged a protest in Jammu against Pakistan over the killings of two teachers by terrorists in Srinagar, yesterday.

Slogans of, "We want justice" were raised during the funeral procession of Supinder Kaur, a teacher who was shot dead by terrorists inside a Srinagar school yesterday. Members of the Sikh community took part in her funeral procession today. 

Two government school teachers, including a woman, were shot dead by terrorists in Eidgah area of Srinagar amid increasing attacks on civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, police said. 

 A total of seven civilians have been killed by terrorists in the Kashmir Valley in five days. 

 Of the seven, four were from minority communities and six of the deaths took place in Srinagar, the main urban centre of the Valley. 

 Supinder Kaur, a Srinagar-based Sikh, and Chand, a Hindu from Jammu, were killed two days after The Resistance Force, a shadow outfit of the banned Lashkar-e-Tayiba, claimed responsibility for the deaths of three people on Tuesday. 

 Makhan Lal Bindroo, a prominent Kashmiri Pandit and owner of Srinagar's most famous pharmacy, was shot dead at his shop that evening. Minutes later, a 'chaat' vendor, Virendra Paswan from Bihar, was gunned elsewhere in Srinagar. Almost simultaneously, another civilian, Mohammad Shafi Lone, was killed at Naidkhai in Bandipora.
