Cinemas, temples are 'super spreaders': Delhi

In wake of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, cinema halls, malls, metro and religious place have been called 'super spreader' areas.

"All district magistrates have been instructed to increase surveillance in areas," news agency ANI quoted the Delhi government as saying on Wednesday.

India's coronavirus caseload surged to 1,17,34,058 with 47,262 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry said Wednesday morning. Total deaths due to the infection in the country has mounted to 1,60,441.
