India records 46,148 new Covid cases, 979 deaths

India on Monday recorded 46,148 new Covid-19 cases and 979 deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Health Ministry.

A total of 58,578 patients recovered during the same time.

The top five states which registered the maximum cases are Kerala with 10,905 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 9,974 cases, Tamil Nadu with 5,127 cases, Andhra Pradesh with 4,250 cases and Karnataka with 3,604 cases.
