SC to examine validity of UP's 'love jihad' law

The Supreme Court on Wednesday agreed to examine the controversial laws framed by Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on religious conversions due to interfaith marriage.

The SC, however, refused to stay the controversial provisions of the laws enacted by the states.
