Unlock 5: Cinemas, swimming pools to reopen

The government has said cinema halls, multiplexes, exhibition halls and entertainment parks will be allowed to open with up to 50 per cent of their seating capacity from October 15.

Announcing the guidelines for Unlock 5, the government said that schools and colleges will be allowed to reopen from October 15 but the final call has been left to the states and the institutions involved.

As per the guidelines, swimming pools being used for training of sportspersons will be permitted to open, for which the standard operating procedure will be issued by ministry of youth affairs and sports.
