Maha Dy CM Ajit Pawar in hospital due to Covid

Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been hospitalised after he tested positive for coronavirus.

Pawar was under home quarantine recently after he complained of fever and fatigue after touring flood-hit Pune and Solapur districts.

He had tested negative on Thursday, but a retest confirmed he has COVID-19.

Over a dozen Maharashtra ministers have tested positive in the last few months.
