As the ever garrulous Narendra Modi maintains a baffling silence on the massacre of Indian soldiers at Ladakh, the family of Col Santosh Babu says they did not believe the news when they first heard about it. "At first,we didn't believe it but later higher authorities told us what had happened. We're under deep shock. Our son faced many challenges," said the Col Santosh Babu's mother. He was the CO ,16 Bihar regiment, who lost his life in violent face-off with Chinese soldiers in Ladakh's Galwan valley.
