Over 26,000 COVID cases in 24 hrs for first time

India has once again reported the highest single-day spike in fresh coronavirus cases with 26,506 new cases recorded in 24 hours. Indias Covid count now stands at 7.93 lakh.

India has reported 475 deaths and the 26,506 new COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours. Total positive coronavirus cases in India now stand at 7,93,802.

India now has 2,76,685 active cases and 4,95,513 cured and discharged cases. Indias coronavirus death toll has gone up to 21,604.

With 7.93 lakh coronavirus cases, India now ranks third in the world coronavirus charts after US and Brazil.

Maharashtra, which is the worst-affected state in India, has recorded 2.30 lakh coronavirus cases and 9,667 deaths while Tamil Nadu, which is the second worst-affected state, has recorded 1.26 lakh Covid cases.
