Serena crashes out of Australian Open

Serena Williams, 23-time Grand Slam champion, has been booted out of the Australian Open by China's Qiang Wang in a battle like no other.

Serena lost the third round in three sets -- 4-6, 7-6, 5-7.

These two had met only once before, Serena coming out on top in last years US Open quarter-final 6-1 6-0.

Her loss at Melbourne means her hunt for the record-tying 24th Grand Slam title will have to wait till the French Open.
