Shaheen Bagh dadis to meet Shah, sit-in may end

The three elderly women who have come to be known as the 'dadis of Shaheen Bagh' are likely to meet Union Home Minister Amit shah at 2 pm on Sunday.

Top officials of the home ministry and Delhi police are also expected to be present at the meeting.

Shaheen Bagh blockade may end on Monday.

Shaheen Bagh has become the epicentre of protest against the CAA as women with young children have been on a sit-in protest for nearly two months.

On February 10, the Supreme Court had said people cannot block public road indefinitely and create inconvenience for others but declined to pass an interim direction on pleas for removal of anti-CAA protesters from Shaheen Bagh.
