Right-wing organisation Hindu Sena has filed a complaint with Delhi Police against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi chief Assauddin Owaisi and the All India Muslim Personal Law Board for "promoting hatred and violence against minor Ram Lalla and his property and Hindu community and place of worship".

The Hindu Sena has claimed Owaisi's statements about the Ram temple are "in contempt of Honourable Supreme Court Order in favour of minor petitioner Ram Lalla".

Earlier, Owaisi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had failed to uphold the structure of the Constitution by taking part in the 'bhoomi pujan' at Ayodhya.

"By attending, the Prime Minister has not only laid the foundation of a Mandir, but also the foundation of a Hindu Rashtra," Owaisi told reporters in Hyderabad.

The AIMIM leader accused Modi of making India a theological country, which goes against the basic structure of the Constitution.
