Defence Minister Rajnath Singh takes off in Rafale RB001 for sortie.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has taken the official handover of first Indian Rafale jet from France. The defence minister performed a Shastra puja on the aircraft and is expected to take a sortie in the aircraft soon.

Before flying to Mrignac, the defence minister had a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. In the meeting, the French president vowed 'unrelenting fight' against Islamist terror.
