Dy CM from NCP, Speaker from Cong: Praful Patel

Nationalist Congress Party's Praful Patel addresses media after attending meeting of NCP-Congress-Shiv Sena MLAs in Mumbai:

After a six-hour meeting between the leaders of the three parties, Patel said that some ministers of the alliance government will take oath along with the CM at Shivaji Park tomorrow.

"It's not decided yet how many ministers will take oath with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray tomorrow.

"How many ministers will take oath will be decided tonight. One or two MLAs from each party will take oath as ministers. Speaker has been decided by all three parties, Speaker will be from Congress and Deputy Speaker from NCP," Patel said.

This means that there won't be any deputy CM from the Congress.

Patel said that the expansion of the cabinet will take place only after the trust vote on December 3.

He said that the parties have reached a consensus over government formation and over portfolios and there's no need of further discussion. -- ANI
