Cong-NCP meet to discuss CMP deferred

JUST IN: A meeting of Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress scheduled for today has been cancelled.
The meeting was called to discuss the Common Minimum Programme of the two parties.
Congress leader Manikrao Thakre told Rediff.com's Prasanna D Zore that the meeting was cancelled as the
delegations belonging to the wo parties were still in
discussion with their senior party leaders about the agenda for the
meeting.
This meeting, Thakre said, where the two sides were likely to
discuss the common minimum programme has been postponed to tomorrow
morning or afternoon.
"The meeting will be happening tomorrow for sure,"
Thakre said.
