Kartarpur Corridor talks begin at border

This is the Pakistani delegation at the Wagah Border to hold discussions with their Indian counterparts over the Kartarpur Corridor. The Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan to India, Syed Haider Shah said Wednesday that talks on visa-free access to the corridor will be held today. 

Speaking to media persons upon his arrival at the Amritsar airport, Shah said, "Talks will be held tomorrow. It is an initiative of Pakistan. Pakistan wants to open the  Kartarpur corridor so that the Sikh pilgrims can visit it."


He also said that talks will also be held on no-visa access to the Kartarpur corridor.
