The BJP will soon be unleashing its poll blitzkrieg in Tamil Nadu. The party has roped in chief ministers from 14 states to hold mega rallies in Tamil Nadu. Also on the cards is a road show by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, ostensibly summoned to counter the DMK's atheist policies. And of course, there will be rallies by PM Narendra Modi.

Between March 24 and April 10, the BJP will hold at least 25 rallies in Tamil Nadu for its alliance partner in the state, the ruling AIADMK.

Apart from the 14 CMs of BJP ruled states, around 35 Union ministers are also expected to attend the public meetings in Tamil Nadu.

The Special Protection Group has already sanitised all the venues where the PM will address rallies. The exact venues will be announced after consultations with allies.

Following is the number of rallies held by each leader.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi: 6
BJP President Amit Shah: 6
UP CM Yogi Adityanath: 6
LK Advani: 2
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani: 4
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis: 2

Union minister Piyush Goyal has written to BJP chief ministers to mark in dates for Tamil Nadu, while BJP General Secrerary Bhupendra Yadav is coordinating these rallies assisted by Muralidhar Rao observer of Tamil Nadu.

This massive grouping of resources by the BJP indicates that Modi is likely to take on the DMK head on espcially after the DMK's 'Modi go back chants', the last time the PM was in the state.

Tamil Nadu has 39 Lok Sabha seats, while Pondicherry has 1.
