JNU sedition case: Court asks AAP govt to expedite sanction to prosecute

JNU sedition case: The Delhi police tells the trial court that requisite sanctions to prosecute Kanhaiya Kumar and others in the sedition case are yet to be procured, since they are pending with the Delhi govt, but are  expected in a few days. 

The court tells the Delhi police to ask authorities concerned to expedite sanction to prosecute. "Authorities can't sit on a file for an indefinite period," the court says. Court gives Delhi Police time till February 28 to procure sanctions to prosecute Kanhaiya Kumar and others."
