After Mallya's extradition order, Jaitley takes jibe at Opposition

In a big development in Vijay Mallya extradition case, UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid today has signed the order to extradite Mallya to India.

Mallya now has a 14-day window to appeal to a higher court. According to multiple sources, the entire procedure to bring back Mallya to India may take at least 7-8 months if he uses all his legal options.

Reacting to the news of UK Home Secrectary clearing Mallya's extradition, Union Minister Arun Jaitley tweeted "Modi Government clears one more step to get Mallya extradited while Opposition rallies around the Saradha Scamsters."
