CAB tabled in Lok Sabha: Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on says it is nothing but a targeted legislation over minority people of our country.

NK Premachandran, Revolutionary Socialist Party MP says the Bill violates the basic structural features of the constitution envisioned in the preamble as entitlement of citizenship based on religion is against the secular fabric of the country.

The bill (CAB) seeks to grant Indian citizenship to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan escaping religious persecution there. The BJP has issued a a three-line whip to all its lawmakers to be present in Parliament from Monday to Wednesday.
