CBI team at Chidambaram's home

Hours after Delhi high court rejected senior Congress leader P Chidambaram's request for anticipatory bail, a team of Central Bureau of Investigation officers arrives at the residence of the former Union minister.

Earlier, The court said bail cannot be granted just because Chdambaram is a parliamentarian.

"Facts of the case prima facie reveal that the petitioner is the kingpin, that is, the key conspirator in this case," the judge said.

The high court also declined interim protection from arrest to him for approaching the Supreme Court in the case.

Later, Chidambaram moved the Supreme Court against the HC order.
