Singer Daler Mehndi joins BJP

Singer Daler Mehndi joins the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of BJP North West Delhi candidate Hans Raj Hans and Union Minister Vijay Goel. The singer joined the league of celebrities, who recently took a political plunge this Lok Sabha elections. The BJP is fielding celebrities like Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan (Gorakhpur), Dinesh Yadav Nirahua (Azamgarh), Jaya Pradha (Rampur), Suresh Gopi (Trissur), cricketer Gautam Gambhir (East Delhi) and Sunny Deol (Gurdaspur).

So, why is Hans Raj Hans at the function? Mehndi's daughter is married to a son of Hans.
