It's Farooq Abdullah's marriage anniversary today

It's former J-K CM and National Conference party chief Dr Farooq Abdullah's golden wedding anniversary, his son, also a former CM of J-K tells us on Twitter. Omar, posts this throwback picture of his parents, saying, @OmarAbdullah "My mum will murder me for this but if not today then when!! Happy 50th wedding anniversary to my parents. Love you both xx."

Dr Abdullah is married to Molly, a nurse of British origin. They have three children -- Omar, and three daughters, Safia, Hinna, and Sara. Sara is married to Congress MP Sachin Pilot.
