BJP offering Rs 100 cr to JDS MLAs

HD Kumaraswamy chosen as legislative party leader in a meeting of the JD(S) MLAs in Bengaluru. Addressing a presser now, he says the JDS will stay with the Congress and there was no question of supporting the BJP. He said the BJP was desperate to stay in power, it is trying hard to divide us. "They have 104 people, they need another 8 MLAs. BSY doesn't have the numbers, but the result did not make us happy. We thought the BJP would not cross 80 seats," Kumaraswamy said after being chosen head of the JDS legislative party. Kumaraswamy said the BJP was offering Rs 100 crore to their MLAs.
