Terrorists snatch rifle of CRPF jawan near railway station in Anantnag

Suspected terrorists today snatched a rifle from a Central Reserve Police Force constable at Government Railway Police barracks, about 400m from Sadura raiway station in South Kashmir's Anantnag district, officials said.

The men pelted stones at the constable and a gun-shot was heard, they said, adding further details were awaited. However, local police said there was no report of any firing. -- PTI
