Union Sports Min Rajyavardhan Rathore along with Abdullah Abdullah, Afghanistan's chief executive officer watch the India vs Afghanistan cricket test match at Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Rathore said India was committed towards building and strengthening Afghanistan and its sports.

Abdullah Abdullah, said, "It's a historical event for us. Afghan players have come long way in a short period of time. This is their 1st test match with the first test cricket team (India). Our team has shown talent and we are hopeful for their future."

India scored 186/1 with India winning the toss and choosing to bat. Shikhar Dhawan gave Afghanistan a rude reality check on what longest format is all about as his 87-ball-century.
