PM takes a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi's remark that the PM is 'looking away, not looking into my eyes'.

"How can I look into your eyes. You're naamdaar, I'm kaamdaar. I'm son of a poor mother, belong to a backward caste. How can I look in to your eyes?" the PM sarcastically remarked.

History knows what happened to those who tried to look into your eyes.

"Subhas Chandra Bose tried to see eye to eye, what happened? Morarji Desai tried, Jayprakash Narayan tried, Sardar Patel tried, Chaudhary Charan Singh tried, Chandrasekhar tried what happened to them?

"Pranab Mukherjee and Sharad Pawar tried too, what happened to them," the PM said.
