Gunmen attack Kabul military academy: Reports

Gunmen launched a pre-dawn attack on a military academy in Kabul today, Afghanistan's TOLO New has reported.

Some of the attackers at the Marshal Fahim Military Academy have been killed, an Afghan security source said, adding the gunmen had not managed to enter the academy.

There have been no reports of casualties so far.

The attack comes days after the deadliest bombing for months hit Kabul when an ambulance packed with explosives killed at least 100 people.
