As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shortly heads for Chabad House in Colaba, target of terrorists during 26/11, to hold a memorial service of the victims and meet the 11-year-old Moshe Holtzberg who lost his parents in the terror attack, the street on which the building is located has been shut.

Even the local landmark, Rex Bakery, which remains open 24x7, was not allowed to open today, reports Vaihayasi Pande Daniel/Rediff.com

'It's a kind of dj vu of 26/11,' she reports, 'minus, of course, the sound of gunshots and grenade going off.'

Meanwhile, the movers have been unpacking stuff needed for the memorial service (pic here), security has been visibly increased, and members of the Jewish community have started coming in (pic here).

Mumbai police's bomb disposal squad is also present, along with its sniffer dog Moti (pic here), and adding to the layers of security is Israel's own Mossad (pic here).

Also on hand is rabbi Israel Kozlovsky, co-director of Chabad House, ensuring that all arrangements are in order (in white shirt, here).
