A vintage Douglas DC3 aircraft, better known as the Dakota, the workhorse which first saw action in the 1930s, has been gifted to the Indian Air Force yesterday. The airplane was revived and made airworthy at the behest of RS MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar who bought the aircraft from Ireland in 2010. It will now be part of the IAF's its fleet of vintage aircraft.
