Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Tuesday hit out at the alliance of the BJP and the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura, saying that both the parties are conniving to wipe off the state from the history.
Addressing a rally ahead of the upcoming assembly election in the state, Sarkar accused the BJP of creating disturbances throughout the nation.
"The alliance between BJP and IPFT is unholy. BJP is supporting IPFT which demands the separation of Tripura. It is a conspiracy to wipe off Tripura from history," he said.
"Four years back, the BJP came to power with promises of 'Acche Din' among others but kept none," he added. He noted that the country's inflation rate and petrol prices were higher than the rest of the world. -- ANI
