Maharashtra: The Bajrang Dal took out a rally in Nagpur against Valentine's Day celebrations, saying, 'Agar unhe Valentine's Day manaane ka haq hai toh humein apni sanskriti bachaane ka bhi haq hai. If they have a right to celebrate Valentine's Day, we too have a right to save our culture." The Bajrang Dal said that if they found any couple on the street on Valentine's Day, they would get them married

A day ahead of Valentine's Day, posters with messages like 'Say no to Valentine's Day' and 'Love Jihad: Hindu girls beware' were witnessed in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. The Hindu outfit has also approached the pubs and restaurants in Hyderabad, asking them to boycott Valentine's Day celebrations. Such incidents of moral policing by the right-wing outfit on this day are reported every year.
