Kashmir terror funding case: NIA summons MLA Engineer Rashid

The National Investigative Agency today issued summon notice to Jammu and Kashmir MLA Engineer Rashid in connection with terror funding case.

Rashid will be questioned by the NIA on October 3.

The NIA in the recent past has arrested many separatist leaders and businessmen in the case.

Earlier on September 6, the investigation agency conducted searches at around 27 locations in Srinagar and Delhi.

Last month, the NIA arrested seven Kashmiri separatists -- Altaf Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Mehraj Kalwal, Shahid-ul-Islam, Naeem Khan and Bitta Karate -- for allegedly funding terror activities in the Kashmir Valley. -- ANI
