Update: Panchkula police today raided Honeypreet Insan's Greater Kailash residence in New Delhi with an arrest warrant, but failed to find her.

Honeypreet, who has been on the run following the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in two rape cases, on 25 September approached the Delhi High Court seeking anticipatory bail, her lawyer said. The court will hear her anticipatory bail plea at 2 pm today.

The 'adopted' daughter of the jailed Dera chief, tops the list of 43 persons 'wanted' by the Haryana Police in connection with incidents of violence that had followed Ram Rahim's conviction in the rape cases.

Her lawyer, Pradeep Kumar Arya, confirmed that she visited his office in Delhi's Lajpat Nagar on 25 September afternoon. Earlier, the police issued a lookout notice against Honeypreet.
