PM Modi to launch Saubhagya Yojana today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Saubhagya Yojana & inaugurate the Deendayal Urja Bhawan at 6.30 pm today.

The scheme aims at providing 'last mile electricity connectivity to all rural and urban households'.

The PM had in 2015 said that the government has set a 1,000-day target to electrify over 18,000 villages that don't have access to electricity at all.
