Minor earthquake jolts Jammu and Kashmir

An earthquake with magnitude 4.5 jolted Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday at around 5.45 am, the India meteorological department has confirmed.

However, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported as of now.

The depth of the earthquake was 150 kilometres, and the coordinates were latitude 34.0 degrees north and longitude 74.7 degrees east.
