In his first speech at the United Nation General Assembly, United States President Donald Trump warned North Korea that the US will destroy it.

"No one has shown more contempt for its people than the regime in North Korea. If it (the US) threatened, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea," Trump said.

However, later he said that it won't be necessary.

"US is ready, willing and able (to totally destroy North Korea) but hopefully that won't be necessary. That is what UN is all about," he said.

Declaring Iran as a 'rogue state' and 'corrupt dictatorship, Trump said, "The deal with Iran is one of the worst that US has entered into. That deal is an embarrassment to the US."

He acknowledges that all countries have different goals, but the beautiful vision that led to the creation of the UN allows people to work side-by-side. Trump has criticized the UN repeatedly in the past.
