Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is in Srinagar on a 4-day visit, addressed the media on the second day of his trip.

Here's what he said.

1) On this visit, I spoke to members of civil society and political parties. I met 55 delegations in two days

2) Situation in the state is definitely improving

3) The Rs 80,000-crore Prime Minister's relief package, has been enhanced to Rs 1,00,000-crore

4) I can see the green shoots of peace in Kashmir valley

5) The terrorists have destroyed many generations of Kashmiris. We will not allow another generation to go waste in Kashmir

6) Come to Kashmir for tourism and business purposes; there is no threat in Kashmir
