I didn't hear you: Uma Bharati on resignation queries

While Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Sanjeev Balyan clearly stated that they were asked by the party to resign as Union ministers to which they readily complied, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharati, who also resigned yesterday, refused to take any questions in this regard.

When asked about the reports of her resignation from the Union cabinet, she said, "Maine ye sawaal suna hi nahin, na sunungi aur na jawaab dungi (I didn't hear the question. Neither will I hear, nor would I answer.)' -- ANI
