Three FOBs for three Mumbai rail stations by January: Goyal

Update: The three foot overbridges will be built with the Army at Elphinstone Road station, Currey Road station and Ambivali station by 31st January 2018, says Piyush Goyal, Railway Minister.

So, it's not three FOBs at Elphinstone as reported earlier. And yes, Parel station which is linked to Elphinstone Road station by a single FOB has been ignored. Another stampede waiting to happen at Parel station.

Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Army has inspected and assessed where the bridge is going to be built at Elphinstone Road station. They will be there at every stage of the work.
