The witty Baijayant Panda from the Biju Janata Dal has a riposte for his Parliamentary colleague, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.


Uploading a video of his dog Buddy, Jay Panda, tweeted, "Since opposites attract, #Pidi meet #Buddy: Has a mind of his own, refuses to obey, or learn new tricks, let alone tweeting. Can you help?"


Rahul Gandhi's dog, Pidi Gandhi, gained fame on Twitter on Sunday after Rahul posted a video crediting him with his recent rise in popularity on Twitter. "People (have) been asking who tweets for this guy... I'm coming clean..it's me..Pidi..I'm way smarter than him. Look what I can do with a tweet..oops..treat!," Gandhi tweeted. In the video, a snack is put on Pidi's nose which he neatly pops into his mouth.


Panda, has been on the fringes of the party, ever since he called for introspection in  in the aftermath of the BJD's under performance in the panchayat polls in May and how the party was taken over by opportunists. He was summararily sacked from the post of spokesperson of the party.
