Congress chief Sonia Gandhi hospitalised

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after doctors said she was suffering from an upset stomach. She has been kept under observation for now, her doctors said.

Sonia has been keeping poor health for some time now. In the recent past, reports had stated that the party would see new leadership post Diwali as she was keeping poor health and that Rahul Gandhi would be elevated to party president.
