35 Egyptian cops killed in shootout with Islamists

At least 35 Egyptian policemen were reportedly killed in a shootout with Islamists in Giza.

The policemen came under fire during a raid on a suspected hideout in Egypt's western desert.

According to reports, the exchange of gunfire took place in the al-Wahat al-Bahriya district in the Giza governorate on Friday.
