Kalli Purie named India Today group's vice chairperson

Kalli Purie has been named as the new vice chairperson of the Indian Today Group, replacing her father Aroon Purie, reports medianama.com.

'In her new role, she will look after editorial and business functions of the group, and Group CEO and Group CFO will report to her when appointed, along with executives who were earlier reporting to Aroon Purie,' the website reports.

Mr Purie will now look at the group's strategies and new opportunities, instead of day-to-day operations, medianama.com adds, here.
