Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address on Ayurveda Day continues:

- Like IT revolution a few years ago, the time has come for a 'health revolution' under the aegis of Ayurveda.

- The government has approved 100 per cent foreign direct investment in healthcare. It should be worked out how will this benefit Yoga and Ayurveda.

- The reason to promote every kind of healthcare system is that the government wants the poor and underprivileged to get cheaper healthcare.

- That's why, our focus is on two points, first preventive healthcare and second that access and affordability in healthcare system should be enhanced.

- We've been moving forward with a holistic approach in enhancing affordability and accessibility in the healthcare system. For this purpose, number of seats in PG medical colleges have been increased.

- New All India Institutes of Medical Sciences are being opened to provide better treatment and healthcare. The price of stents has been slashed. Decisions have been taken to regulate cost of a knee transplant. Cheap medicines are being provided to the underprivileged by public medicine centres.  -- ANI, @PMOIndia/Twitter
